FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR MUCH OF NORTHERN AND PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...
.Warm and dry conditions are expected across North Dakota on
Sunday, ahead of an approaching cold front. The combination of
strong west winds or 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph and low
humidities of 20 to 30 percent, could produce critical fire
weather conditions over most of northern and portions of central
North Dakota. Near critical fire weather conditions are possible
south of the fire weather watch where winds are not forecast to be
as strong.
The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Sunday afternoon through early Sunday evening.
