A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ST. CROIX AND NORTH CENTRAL PIERCE COUNTIES UNTIL 1145 AM CDT

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

possible.

HIGH FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING FOR PARTS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES
Relative Humidities of 30 percent or less can be expected for 4
or more hours this afternoon and evening. Winds will be west to
northwest at 4-7 MPH.

With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside,
use extreme caution.

INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM 12 PM TO 8 PM EDT TODAY ACROSS NORTHEAST GEORGIA
Relative humidity values will fall below 30 percent again this
afternoon across northeast Georgia. With low fuel moisture, the
ongoing drought, and favorable meteorological conditions, fires
will be able to catch and spread rapidly.
