Northwest winds gusting to 60 mph possible.

Where:
Golden Valley, Slope, Bowman, and Adams Counties.

When:
Until 11 PM MST this evening.

Impacts:
There could be some damage to roofs, small outbuildings,
and signs. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile
vehicles.

Additional Details:
Occasional blowing snow will be possible with
the strong winds, reducing visibility to around a half mile at
times.

Instructions:
Secure objects that could be blown around. Be careful when traveling
and check the latest road conditions before you leave.

Carter and Fallon.

Until midnight MST tonight.

Impacts:
Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines
resulting in power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles.

Instructions:
People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind. Use caution while traveling as sudden strong
wind gusts are expected.

South Laramie Range and Foothills including the Interstate
80 Summit between Cheyenne and Laramie.

When:
Until noon MST Saturday.

Impacts:
Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
campers and tractor trailers.

Additional Details:
Strong gusty winds combined with low humidity
and very dry fuels will produce conditions favorable for the rapid
spread of grassland wildfires.

Instructions:
Avoid outdoor burning and any other activities that could spark a
wildfire.
