between 7000 and 9000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

Where:
Above 7000 feet in the Sheep Range and Spring Mountains.

When:
From 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Tuesday.

Impacts:
Plan on slippery road conditions in Lee Canyon and upper
Kyle Canyon.

Instructions:
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 5 1 1 for road
information.

Areas Impacted:
Sheep Range
Spring Mountains-Red Rock Canyon

7000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

Where:
Above 7000 feet in the White and Inyo Mountains.

When:
From 11 PM this evening to 5 AM PDT Wednesday.

Impacts:
Travel could be very difficult, particularly through
Westgard Pass.

Instructions:
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 1-800-427-7623 for
road information.

Areas Impacted:
White Mountains of Inyo County

What:
Heavy snow above 7000 feet. Snow accumulations of 6 to 12
inches with up to 18 inches along the Sierra crest. 1 to 3 inches
of snow accumulation at lake level. Ridge winds gusting up to 60
mph.

Where:
Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

When:
Until 11 AM PDT Wednesday.

Impacts:
Travel could be difficult, especially through mountain
passes such as Donner Pass, Echo Summit, Carson Pass, and Ebbetts
Pass. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning and
evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Additional Details:
Heaviest snowfall is expected Tuesday morning
through late afternoon with snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour
at times.

Instructions:
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Do not attempt travel on
high elevation roads if they are closed. The latest road conditions
for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
