four inches across western central Indiana...has produced minor
flooding along much of the Wabash River. Flooding will end at
Lafayette and Covington Thursday...with minor flooding continuing at
Terre Haute and points downriver into next week.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where:
Wabash River at Lafayette.
When:
Until tomorrow evening.
Impacts:
At 12.0 feet, Water may approach a couple low county
roads.
Additional Details:

Backyard flood of cottages a short distance north of U.S. Highway
136. High water blocks land access to at least one residence.

southwest Vigo County occurs. County roads flood in southwest Vigo
County. The wetland projects between U.S. 40 and I-70 begin to
slowly fill.

Bedford Times reported the following county roads still under
water: River Road, Bartlettsville Road by the bridge and in the
bottoms, Judah-Logan Road by the bridge, the gravel part of Logan
Bottoms, Donica Church Road between Logan Bottoms and the hill,
Peerless Road by Mica Metals, Little Salt Creek Run, Stumphole
Bridge Road near SR 450, Huron-Williams Road, Lawrenceport Road,
Rivervale Road and Earl Road.
Additional Details:
- At 9:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 18.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 23.6 feet Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

.Heavy rainfall since Monday afternoon totaling mainly two to five
inches across southern central Indiana...has produced minor flooding
along much of the East Fork White and White Rivers and associated
lowland areas. A double crest will continue minor flooding through
this weekend for most river points.

Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where:
White River at Petersburg.
When:
Until Thursday, May 07.
Impacts:
At 21.3 feet, State Road 257 south of Washington began
to flood during May 2008 after local rains of more than an inch on
very wet soils with Petersburg at 21.3 feet and rising and Shoals
at 15.5 feet and rising.

Highway 41 are flooded. Water is near or starting on Giro Road in
the vicinity of submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields
flood. Flood gates must be installed at Hazleton.
