What:
Large breaking waves of 20 to 28 feet with a high risk
of sneaker waves during any lulls in high surf.
Where:
All beaches and surf of Douglas, Coos and Curry
Counties.
When:
Until 8 PM PDT Sunday.
Impacts:
Large breaking waves will create hazardous
conditions along and within the surf zone, and could inundate
beaches and low lying shorelines. Waves could wash over rocks
and jetties, beach erosion is possible, and exposed
infrastructure may be damaged.
Additional Details:
Waves are likely most dangerous during
the run up to high tide. A period of warning level breaking
wave heights up to 30 ft are possible into this evening.

Instructions: Stay away from the surf zone and off of jetties. Area beaches
will become hazardous due to dangerous surf conditions.
