Additional Details:
Very low astronomical tide levels along
with the return of offshore winds following a cold front tonight
is expected to keep the low water advisory necessary through at
least the weekend. The upper bays will be most impacted,
including the Houston Ship Channel and Port Lavaca.
Instructions: Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
