Aransas Islands, Calhoun Islands, and La Salle Counties.
When:
For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 9 PM Saturday to noon
CST Monday. For the Freeze Watch, from late Saturday night through
Sunday evening. For the Freeze Warning, from 11 PM Sunday to noon
CST Monday.
Impacts:
Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Frost and freeze conditions
could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage
unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Instructions: Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.
